Kea France Kea Chapter

Kea France is coming into its own in 2007. It will help New Zealand-oriented people get fast access to advice about their projects in France from those who have already done or tried something similar, or have the right contacts, language skills and understanding of French laws. Kea Netherlands Kea Chapter

After a successful launch at the NZ Ambassador's residence in June 2003, Kea Netherland's
membership has grown to over 200 members from a range of industries and backgrounds. Through
regular events and social gatherings mainly in Amsterdam and The Hague, we provide a networking
platform for Kiwi expats and also Dutch residents with a NZ connection. Together, Kea supports a
network of people interested in maintaining close ties between NZ and The Netherlands.

Kea New England was launched in Boston in October 2002. It provides regular updates of New Zealand-related news and upcoming events to its membership and hosts regular events of interest. Past events have included a presentation on the impact of the America's Cup defeat to the New Zealand economy and a presentation by leading New Zealand political and economic commentator, Rod Oram. Kea New England regularly hosts joint events with other local New Zealand and Australian groups.

We hold regular events in New York City, covering a range of sectors including financial services, media and entertainment, healthcare and technology. Our goal is to provide a focal
point for New Zealand people and businesses in New York, and to be a conduit for New York people and businesses to New Zealand.

Kea Silicon Valley is Kea's first overseas Chapter, launching in March 2002. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, our members are predominantly from high-technology and entrepreneurial professions with strong academic representation from Berkeley and Stanford Universities. Our goal is to provide an avenue for connection and contribution to NZ by facilitating professional networking and information sharing.

Kea South Island was formed in July 2007 and is based out of Christchurch. As Kea's first domestic chapter, its focus is on "completing the loop" between the needs of New Zealand-based companies connecting with the world and returning, or returned, expats looking to optimise their international experiences and connections.

Kea Sydney was launched in May 2004 and aims to bring together local Kiwi talent. We put members in touch with each other and keep them informed about news, issues and events that may be of relevance to them. We aim to generate real value for our members through our relationships with a number of private and government organisations. Our proximity to New Zealand makes us a somewhat unique group, but also one with enormous potential to benefit Kiwi interests on both sides of the Tasman.

Kea UK includes a number of nationalities who have an interest in New Zealand, so it's not just for Kiwis. Our members come from a variety of sectors including technology through to the creative industries. We welcome new members and encourage people to use the network in the manner that best suits their needs, whether that means keeping in touch with New Zealand events or building potential business contacts. We aspire to help create the 'global talent community' that is Kea.
