Kea took top honours at the 2007 Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards.
Kea was named overall Supreme Winner and was also recognised as having made the most significant contribution to the high growth sector.
Established in 2005, the awards are held annually. Founded by small business sector specialist, Sarah Trotman, and sponsored by Vero, the awards are a key event during the annual Small Business Expo.
Award winners are elected by evaluators from the New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation. The Foundation draws on the internationally recognised Baldridge Criteria for Performance Excellence which provides a systems perspective for understanding performance management. The criteria represent a common language among organisations for sharing best practices.
