About The New Zealand Thai Chamber of Commerce
The New Zealand Thai Chamber of Commerce was founded in October 1996 and is based in Bangkok, Thailand. Since its inception, the Chamber has played a key role in promoting New Zealand-Thai relations and in representing New Zealand business in Thailand.

Mission Statement
Providing quality, business focused, information and networking opportunities; at the same time recognizing that we are primarily a voluntary based and operated, not-for-profit organisation
Objectives
- To give advice, suggestions, information and assistance to members and organisations in both Thailand and New Zealand in the areas of trade, commerce, industry and investment.
- Promote trade, business and investment between New Zealand and Thailand through a better understanding of the business practices in each country.
- Provide an effective advocacy group for informing the Thai Government of the views and interests of New Zealand businesses located in or trading with Thailand and to assist Thai businesses interact and express views and interests with the New Zealand Government.
- To promote business relationships between members and government authorities, or other organisations in Thailand and New Zealand in matters concerning trade, commerce, industry and investment.
- To foster and develop sound working relationships with the New Zealand Embassy, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and relevant New Zealand organisations and agencies.
- To publicise and promote Thai and New Zealand products and culture, and foster the trademark Kiwi values – Clean, Green, Friendly, Innovative and Practical.
- To raise the profile of the Chamber within the Thai community through selected events and charitable donations.
- To conduct and sponsor any activities of benefit to members that are high quality and self-funding and provide services appropriate for a Chamber to perform without involvement in politics.
The Chamber is a member of the Board of Trade of Thailand and maintains close relationships with other Chambers of Commerce. It is an active member of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT). The Chamber consults regularly with New Zealand and Thai Government officials on matters of interest or concern to Chamber members.
NZTCC promotes a range of events throughout the year including: monthly Corporate Knight networking functions; networking with other international chambers; business leader forums; and post-budget and post-policy address luncheons. NZTCC, in conjunction with the New Zealand Society, organises the annual Black & White Ball which is held in February / March each year.
