About The New Zealand Chamber of Commerce
The New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (NZCCHK) was founded in 1992 to promote the New Zealand economic presence in Hong Kong. Since then, the continued increase in people, capital and trade flows between New Zealand, Hong Kong and the People’s Republic of China have all been factors in the Chamber's growth.

NZCCHK promotes a range of events throughout the year including: networking with other international chambers; business leader forums; and post-budget and post-policy address luncheons. Study visits to the Greater Pearl River Delta region are organised once or twice a year depending on demand.

NZCCHK is represented on the Hong Kong Government’s International Business Committee which acts as a liaison between the Hong Kong Government and the international business community.

The Chamber also actively supports InterCham and the InterCham PRD Committee, both representative organisations of international business in Hong Kong. InterCham maintains a scholarship fund which grants tertiary education fees for up to six students per year.

The objectives of the Chamber are to provide a forum between New Zealand, Hong Kong and China business executives to:

  • Discuss and promote business ideas
  • Create a supportive and encouraging business environment
  • Assist individuals and companies seeking to increased business, trade or investment
  • Promote and expand the business and general awareness of New Zealand
  • Establish and maintain relationships with other business organisations
  • Monitor business, political, economic and legal developments
  • Maintain relationships with agencies associated with the development of trading links
